How is my ‘Account Value’ calculated in Moon Trader?

Account Value, also known as "Equity" on other platforms, is the total value of your trading account. It is calculated as follows:

Formula: Account Value = Net Deposits + Closed P&L + Open P&L + Active Bonus

Example Calculation:

• You deposit $100.
• You opened and closed one trade with a loss of $10.
• You have an open position with an unrealized profit of $20.
• You have an Active Bonus of $25.

Calculation: $100 (Net Deposits) - $10 (Closed P&L) + $20 (Open P&L) + $25 (Active Bonus) = $135

Your Account Value is $135.

Understanding your Account Value helps you keep track of your overall financial status in your trading account, taking into account all deposits, realized and unrealized profits/losses, and any active bonuses.
